New partnership in Europe
Spatineo has established a partnership agreement with Connecting Solutions, owned by Juan Abaunza. Juan will be helping Spatineo with sales in Czech, Slovakia, Austria and Switzerland as he has extensive knowledge of the GIS-market in the area. We felt that we needed a person with deeper understanding of procedures in that region, and Juan fills that role perfectly.
Summary of Juan’s background:
“My experience with GIS started on the early 90’s while working for Leica Geosystems, when I started commercializing and promoting Magellan and Garmin to dealers in Latin America, as a tool for Leica’s stations. From that day on, the growth of GIS has been so quick, and started offering so many platforms for Georeferencing in today’s markets and was the base in which many companies started developing their own technologies for GPS and GIS.”
At the same time, Juan’s priority was to assist dealers in acquiring new customers and up-selling additional products or services to existing ones. The main goal was to have a strong and reliable dealers’ base in Latin America and by doing so, the brand would establish well and offer not only high-quality products but very high quality technical and customer services. That was a lesson he took with him until these days, using high quality customer service not only to promote sales among new customers, but as important to provide a high quality level of services to existing ones, as a way of maintaining high performance in retention rates.
