My name is Fabio Bittencourt and I am the Sales Manager for Southern Europe & UK. I have started at Spatineo in March 2016.
2.) What do you do at Spatineo in practice? Tell us about your typical work day!
I am responsible for business development and sales in Portugal, Spain, Italy and the UK. Typically, the work involves finding, contacting, scheduling meetings and preparing and delivering demo presentations of our solutions to potential customers. It is also an exciting part of the job to be attending conferences and exhibitions in those countries.
3.) What is the best thing about your work?
Best part of my work is both the opportunity to be a part of a young organization and participate in a company with incredible potential for growth. It is a pleasure to be able to propose new ideas to make the company’s marketing and sales processes even more effective and see most of those changes implemented very quickly. The work environment is so open and easily accessible, that I have the sense of truly “making a difference” at the strategic level and see that the entire group shares very similar goals no matter if you are in sales or software development.
4.) If you are a tourist in a foreign city, which map service do you use? Why?
When I am travelling abroad and for some reason I don’t have any network available outdoors, I usually try to download apps to my phone beforehand that then can provide me with some offline maps when I am outside. But if I get regular access to data network in that place, I just try to use local routing or transportation apps which I expect helping me to get wherever I want in the most efficient way.
