1.) Name, title, how long have you worked at Spatineo?
I’m Luukas Raatikainen, a BBA student from Haaga-Helia, specializing in Advertising & Corporate communications. I’m titled as Marketing Coordinator here at Spatineo. I’ve started working a month ago and so far, it has been great!
2.) What do you do at Spatineo in practice? Tell us about your typical work day!
As a Marketing Coordinator, it is my responsibility to publish our newsletter, handle our social media and edit/publish/monitor our website.
I usually start my day by checking latest reports on our newsletters and website, see if there is anything abnormal. Then I check my to-do list for the week and start creating content, in a form of blog post or newsletter typically. Sometimes I help our sales team to create individualistic emails to clients and leads.
3.) What is the best thing about your work?
Creating content that hooks the reader into browsing frenzy about us is most rewarding here. A dramatic picture, poetic social media post or a tingling blog article that interests the audience really makes my day.
Also working in a environment of a startup firm, where you actually make a difference is satisfactory. Having a impact in the end result and seeing your work matter in the long run is really rewarding.
4.) If you are a tourist in a foreign city, which map service do you use? Why?
My fiancé would comment here that I don’t even need to be in a foreign city to use map services, with my navigational skills. That is true, as I heavily rely in the services of google maps, HSL journey planner and even Pokémon go maps when I’m moving around in any city.
